Ramsau am Dachstein is the perfect place to recharge your batteries and revitalise your mind, body and soul. The beautiful alpine pastures at the foot of the mighty Dachstein South Face provide plenty of opportunities for hiking with spectacular views and lots of mountain huts for stops along the way. There are also many incredible via ferrata climbing routes in Ramsau, which are well worth tackling for the wonderful views that stretch beyond Austria’s borders.

Hiking equipment

You have to be prepared for all weather conditions when you’re out on adventures in nature. That’s why you need to carefully consider your clothing choices and dress appropriately. We have a wide selection of hiking jackets, tops, trousers, boots, rucksacks and so much more at our shop.

Climbing high

Ramsau is the climbing capital of the region. Classic alpine climbs, sport climbing routes, climbing parks and via ferrata routes are waiting for you.

Climbing is a challenging sport surrounded by nature in all its glory. There are a few rules you need to follow for your own safety. 

You must take the proper equipment with you! That includes a climbing helmet and harness. You can always rent everything you need for climbing from us.
