Ramsau am Dachstein is a place to recharge your batteries and strengthen your body, mind and soul. The wonderful alpine pasture area at the foot of the imposing Dachstein south faces offers many hiking opportunities, magnificent viewpoints and numerous huts to linger in. 

In addition, Ramsau offers numerous beautiful via ferratas and tours with the reward of a breathtaking view beyond the borders of Austria.

Reaching high while climbing

Ramsau is the heart of climbing in the region. Alpine classics, sport climbing routes, climbing gardens and a variety of via ferratas are there for you.


Climbing is a challenging sport in the midst of beautiful, rugged nature. Please observe some rules for your safety. 


The appropriate equipment is therefore mandatory! Starting with the climbing helmet up to the climbing harness. With us you can also rent your climbing equipment.
